After having to recover from our first loss to Stellenbosch on the Saturday our turn around time to face UCT was 3 days which proved to be our down fall as we fell away in the second half at the Green Mile on Wednesday night.
After leading 7-0 at half time the students opened up the game and capitalised on a yellow card received and exploited our defence scoring 2 tries in the process as the they raced to a 21 -7 lead with time running running out.
We managed to pull one try back but a penalty by UCT ruled out any potential bonus points as we went down 24-14
Not a great day the office as we let ourselves down and effectively lost touch with the possibility of winning the league.
