Our one player was regularly red-carded by the same referee. Prior to a match, after serving one of many suspensions, he approached the referee in the tunnel at Newlands and enquired whether it was worth his while getting togged!

Opposition hooker punched and late-tackled our player who then chased him. Hooker ran off the field and out of our main gate with our player in hot pursuit. Last seen in Fitz Sonnenberg Road approaching the Sea Point beach front. The match continued without them
