After 9 Rounds we have a look at the clubs top contributors

As we look ahead to our away game at Pniel Villagers this weekend and start the downhill run of the season lets see who our top points and try contributors are for the season.

So far this season we have scored 234 tries working out 26 tries for the club each week at 5.2 tries per team

Top Points Scorer:

1 – Shane Vallender has amassed 93 points this season (3 Tries, 33 Conversions and 4 Penalties)

2 – Matthew de Villiers from the U20A side is the clubs 2nd highest scorere with 66 points (3 Tries, 18 Conversions, 5 Penalties)

3 – Dan Mackenzie lies 3rd for the club with 64 points (12 Tries and 2 Conversions)

 

Try Scorers:

1 – Dan Mackenzie has scored a whopping 12 tries so far this season as the 3rd team are the only unbeaten side in the club

2 – Iewan Bartels is close on Dan’s heels with 11 tries. Iewan has scored 9 of those tries for the 1st XV making him the top try scorer in that side.

3 – Tshepo Manaka has 8 tries to his name and all 8 have been for the 2nd XV

Of the 53 tries scored by the U20’s this season, 38 have been converted. this 71.7% conversion rate is the best in the club by 5% with the 1st team converting 36 of their 54 tries
