Hammies ease past Sir Lowrians

In a disappointing Club fixture at Hamilton’s we managed to totally outclass Sir Lowrian’s in a one sided affair 60-10.

The manner in which we played was pleasing on the eye as we dominated all facets and scored some sparkling tries. The disappointment stemmed from the overall clubs results were we rallied up close to 350 points in 4 games.

This is not what we want from club rugby, we really felt for the lower teams of Sir Lowrians who were totally outclassed and lacked depth in numbers something that will need to be addressed before serious injuries occur.

Our points machine rolled on with Winger Janno Van Zyl scoring 4 tries as he popped up all over the park to round off moves. He is playing some of the best rugby of his career and his attitude and approach is a real example to younger players that are making their debuts at Hamilton this season.

Our loose trio was in a rampant mood Gareth Rowe , Newcomer Chris Cloete and Niel Cleghorn were superb.

Another 5 pointer as we keep our sights focused on the league.

A real team performance with all players contributing and playing an expansive running game. With a tough Green Point Derby on this Friday against SKW we will need to up our game and ensure that we lift our game to the next level

It was great to give our Skipper Jody Burch the win as a gift as he become the proud father of Twins on Saturday morning and had to withdraw from the match.Gareth Rowe stepped up to plate and lead the team with aplomb.
