WHAT IS THE HAMILTON 1875 CLUB?
The Hamilton 1875 Club is an initiative taken by Hamilton Sea Point Rugby Football Club to raise funds for the club.
By becoming a member of the Hamilton 1875 Club, you are not only raising funds for the club, but also stand a chance of winning some great prizes as well as enjoying a festive evening out.
There will be monthly draws of cash and spot prizes for lucky ticket holders, calculated on 50% of the month’s total income in the following proportions:
1st prize 50%
2nd prize 25%
3rd prize 15%
4th prize 10%
The balance of each month’s total income will be retained by the Club.
During the last year, the 1875 Club proceeds have contributed greatly to maintenance projects in and around the clubhouse. Among these are the resurfacing of our field and the upgrade of the changerooms.
WHO CAN JOIN THE HAMILTON 1875 CLUB?
Anyone can join the 1875 Club – the invitation is open to everyone – all current and past players, supporters and the general public.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE HAMILTON 1875 CLUB?
Money raised from the 1875 Club will be used to fund various projects around the club. The first project to benefit from the 1875 Club initiative was the much needed resurfacing and relevelling of our A field. Future projects include the renovation of the changing rooms, as well as potentially building a new storeroom/gym/tuck shop under the deck next to the field. We have the quotes, and as soon as the funds are available, we will commence with the building thereof. The pavilion also needs to be upgraded.
HOW CAN I JOIN?
You can enter the Hamilton 1875 Club by clicking one of the red blocks below. You can either sign up for a monthly subscription of R200 or make an annual once-off payment of R2 400.
WHAT ARE THE RULES OF THE CLUB?
You must sign up for a minimum of 12 months. Cash prize winners who are not in attendance at the draw, will be notified by email. Spot prizes shall only be allocated to those in attendance on the draw evening. All prizes won will be posted on our website after every draw.

On the 2nd Thursday of every month.
